Two new services in the second half of 2023

In particular, from the second half of 2013, two services will be provided in addition to the T-luggage service for foreign tourists.

1-day and 3-day short-term subway passes

The Seoul Metropolitan Government is also preparing to issue ‘TTOTA GO’ (tentative name), which allows unlimited use of the Seoul subway during the designated period. Considering that 36.8% of foreign tourists visiting Seoul stay for 4 to 7 days, 1-day and 3-day tickets are being reviewed first.

The selling price is expected to be set at 5,600 won for a one-day pass and 11,800 won for a three-day pass.

Foreign language two-way conversation system

This system is a communication program that allows foreigners of various nationalities to receive real-time and accurate subway usage information. When a station employee and a foreigner speak in their own language, the two-way transparent display automatically translates them into their own language (text).

It is scheduled to debut at Myeong-dong Station from November 2023. Next year, it will be expanded to five stations including Seoul Station and Itaewon Station. In addition to English, Japanese, and Chinese, 13 languages, including Vietnam and Thailand, which are showing a recent trend of increasing tourists, will be provided.
